Involvement
Students have also found community in Oxford, Ohio. The Indian Students Association (ISA) is one of several hundred organizations at Miami. Their goal is to help maintain the identity of subcontinental Indians and Indian Americans, enrich their community life, and promote cultural exchange and understanding. ISA sponsors the annual Diwali celebration and additional programs throughout the year including lunches at nearby Indian restaurants, celebration of other Indian holidays, and organizing community charity events. Contact the ISA Adviser, Jay Patel, for more information at patelj5@MiamiOH.edu.
I really cherish all my Ph.D. days in the biology department and just interacting with my professors and fellow students.

The reason I love Miami is because it is a community that portrays a true sense of belonging and togetherness. It fosters growth and development for students and allows them to become leaders, academic thinkers, and members of the community.
