Pre-PA General Focus Curriculum
Enroll August-to-August to coordinate with Miami University Physician Associate Studies Program, and apply to the PA program in January. If you are accepted to the PA program, some courses will count towards both degrees. If you are not accepted to the PA program, you earn the Biomedical Science degree in August, 12 months after matriculation.
Is your goal a Physician Associate Studies degree?
- Biomedical Science students may be able to apply credits to both the Miami University Biomedical Science MMSc and the Miami University Physician Associate Studies M.M.Sc.
- You must follow the pre-PA plan of study (August-to-August courses)
- You must complete the PA-Biomedical Science qualifying requirements to become eligible for an interview
- An interview is not a guarantee of admission to the PA program
