Academic tuition and fees are set by Miami University's Bursar Office. Non-academic program fee includes housing accommodations, some meals, airport greeting and transfer, field trips, entrance fees and excursions

Freeman Foundation Grant is available-Eligible students will receive $5,000

Fees Paid to Miami: $6,224.20 (In-State) $6,611.30 (Out-of-State)

Non-academic Fees: $5,500.00

Non-academic fees are due in two installments. Fees paid are not refundable after 02/15/2020.

  1. $2,000 deposit due 2 weeks after acceptance
  2. $3,500 due 03/15/2020
  • Note:  Non-academic program fees must be paid in full. Grant recipients will receive the grant funds upon arrival in Tokyo.
  • The Freeman Foundation Grant will be deposited to student’s Bursar account.

Academic Fees

  • Non-refundable administrative fee: $175
  • In-State Fee: $549.20
  • Out-of-State Fee: $936.30
  • Tuition rates are subject to change by the University.  Tuition will be billed through the bursar about a month prior to program start date.

All Locations Personal Fees: $3,228.00

  • Airfare - $1,800
  • Non-program meals - $800
  • GeoBlue Insurance - $128
  • Souvenirs, free evenings - $500

Expenses will vary according to level of personal spending. This expense will include personal shopping and other personal spending/expenses. We strongly recommend that you plan to take enough money in order to enjoy your experience comfortably. In addition, an emergency source of funds, such as a credit card, should be arranged for in case of difficulties
