Transfer Credit

For complete information about Miami University’s transfer credit policies, visit the Policy Library.

Submitting Transcripts for Evaluation

Miami accepts both electronically exchanged and mailed official transcripts. An official transcript must be sent directly from the issuing institution to Miami. Miami will not evaluate or post-transfer credit from an “Issued to Student” or hand-delivered transcript or other academic record documents.

Electronically exchanged transcripts can be sent to transfercrediteval@MiamiOH.edu. Paper transcripts can be mailed to:

  • 4.0 qtr hrs = 2.6 sem hrs
  • 3.0 qtr hrs = 2.0 sem hrs
  • 2.0 qtr hrs = 1.3 sem hrs
  • 1.0 qtr hrs = 0.6 sem hrs
