Masters in Management students are typically people who have recently finished a bachelor's degree in a non-business field like the humanities or liberal arts. These students typically have spent no more than a few years in the workforce. A Management degree supplements their bachelor's degree with a general understanding of business, leadership, and management concepts.
In comparison, the online MBA is a 2-year program designed for working professionals with at least 3 years work experience. MBA students have typically advanced beyond entry- to mid-level roles and are pursuing, or even actively being considered for, a management position. An MBA gives them advanced business knowledge to put them on par with, if not above, their competition.
Our online MBA is a two-year program designed to take one six-week course at a time. You can expect to spend 10-15 hours per week for each three-credit course.
No. The MBA program is fully online, so you can complete your degree from the comfort of home without stepping foot on campus.
Our program is primarily asynchronous, meaning there are no set class times. You can complete your coursework anytime, anywhere. However, there may be times when you’ll need to meet synchronously (at a specific time) to complete group projects or other assignments.
Yes. The Online MBA is designed for working professionals pursuing the degree part-time. We offer one course per term, which allows you to focus on one course at a time in the midst of other life and work responsibilities.
No, the tuition cost per credit hour is $995 regardless of your state of residence.
Unfortunately, we can only offer this program to U.S. citizens and permanent residents at this time.
Educational loans are available. To be considered for federal loans, the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) must be completed each year and the student must be enrolled at least half-time (6 graduate credit hours). The dollar amount of these loans may be based on federal limits, year in school, dependency status, cost of attendance, and other financial aid received. In addition, a number of scholarships, fellowships, and other funding opportunities are available to Miami students when applicable.
