Early College Academy

Established in 2022, ECA allows students to earn an associate degree at no cost to them during their junior and senior years of high school.

Work+

Launched in the fall of 2019, our Work+ program pays 100% of the student's college tuition while also earning an hourly wage. Students will earn a debt-free degree while working with a partner employer for 20-24 hours a week.

Career Services and Professional Development

Works to develop all students, through the phases of their career and professional progression, supporting the creation, evaluation, and implementation of career and professional decisions and plans.

  • 133 Employers attended the Miami Regionals Career Fairs
  • 391 Student appointments with 1,511 total student interactions including presentations and events
  • 81 Internship placements where the student also earned academic credit for the internship
    • Some of those internship companies include Butler County Juvenile Justice Center, Cambridge Isotope Labs, EDGE Teen Center, FC Cincinnati, Kettering Health, Ohio Dept. of Natural Resources, The Cincinnati Insurance Companies, and US Fish & Wildlife Service.

Miami Hamilton Promise Scholarship

The Miami Hamilton Promise Scholarship launched in the fall 2024 offers free tuition for an associate or bachelor’s degree from Miami University Regionals for qualifying students who live in the City of Hamilton.

Miami Middletown Rising Scholarship

The Miami Middletown Rising scholarship will cover the cost of tuition and fees after financial aid for eligible students who live in the City of Middletown.

Service+

More than just a volunteer opportunity, our students serve 11 hours a week from August to May (450 hours) at a nonprofit and government organization host site and receive a total award package of up to $6,718.

TRIO Student Support Services

TRIO SSS’s goal is to help first generation students, Pell Grant recipients, and students with disabilities graduate on time, with as little student debt as possible.

  • TRIO SSS students exceed expected persistence rates

TRIO Upward Bound Success at Miami Hamilton

Upward Bound is an intensive, year-round college preparatory program that provides access to academic support, college and career advising, service and leadership development, mentoring and networking, and cultural activities to participants throughout their high school years.

  • 100% High-school retention and graduation rate
  • 86% of students tested proficient on state exams
  • 97% High school GPA above 2.5
  • 78% Graduated with a Rigorous Program of Study*
  • 45% of students enrolled in college the fall following graduation as opposed to 38% of HHS students who enroll in college within two year of graduation**

*Rigorous program of study = A state metric that includes enrollment in honors, AP, IB, and CCP courses, minimum proficiency scores, and/or industry seals
