Miami University requires each member of the first-year class to complete SAPU: Sexual Assault Prevention for Undergraduates as part of our comprehensive component of the educational requirements of the Violence Against Women Reauthorization Act (“VAWA”), signed into law on March 7, 2014.
In order to complete the Miami University requirements please review the following information carefully.
All first-year Miami University students are required to complete SAPU: Sexual Assault Prevention for Undergraduates during their Online Orientation. Students who do not complete the requirement by the deadlines are subject to an academic hold which will mean you cannot change your schedule and/or register for next semester’s classes.
