Through reflection, self-assessment and group discussions, students gain a sense of belonging at Miami, plan how to make the most of their time at Miami, and establish a foundation for academic and co-curricular success. UNV 101 is a one-credit hour course.
UNV 101 at Miami Regionals has been designed to support Regional students through their first semester at Miami. Topics covered include career exploration, campus resources, mapping your time at Miami in and outside of the classroom, mental health, diversity, financial literacy, and much more. Students in UNV 101 build relationships with peers, faculty members, and staff members through personal interactions in the small classroom setting.
