Please use the following campus resources to learn more, get involved, and find support.
- Students with Disabilities Advisory Council. Promotes awareness about disability-related issues among students and faculty, and provides support systems for Miami's disability community.
- Miller Center for Student Disability Services. Coordinates accommodations, auxiliary aids, support services and resources for students with disabilities.
- AccessMU Center. The AccessMU Center works to create a more accessible environment by providing information and services to enhance equal access for students with and without disabilities.
- Center for Assistive Technology. A cross-disciplinary scholarly research center to enable engineering solutions for socially relevant problems for improving quality of life by assisting the lives of older adults and people with disabilities.
- Disability Studies Minor. This interdisciplinary minor offers a broad liberal arts approach to the study of disability, providing students with knowledge of the historical, social, artistic, literary, legal, educational, philosophical, and political framing of disability.
- Special Education Minor. Gain knowledge of special education including courses in behavior management, career and life span education, assessment and overview of exceptionalities.
