Workday Google Chat

Google chat space called “Workday at Miami” is available so employees can ask questions about how to perform tasks or get information on anything related to Workday. It is also a place for employees to assist others by sharing their acquired knowledge. This is not meant to be a replacement for submitting a support ticket, but it is a wonderful resource for asking questions that others may know the answer to, and receiving crowd-sourced responses.

Workday Wednesdays

Workday Wednesdays are virtual, drop-in information sessions related to all things Workday. Even if you don’t have a specific question, these sessions provide helpful knowledge that you may need in the future, or you may be able to lend your expertise to the conversation and answer questions that the meeting host is unable to answer. We highly recommend attending them if you can. These sessions take place every Wednesday from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. via Zoom.

These are recorded and the links are listed in the document “Workday Wednesday recordings” (Miami login required).

Workday Training

Workday Training in Workday

You can view recorded training sessions and access job aids directly from within Workday (MiamiOH.edu/workday). To access these, enter “LRN: Workday” in the search box at the top of your Workday page, then select the course title you would like to view.

Workday Training in Canvas

The "Workday Training Materials" site in Canvas provides recordings of each of the Workday training classes that you can view. Along with the training recordings, you will find links to job aid packets, and for some of the classes, a copy of the presentation slides. The Canvas site also contains generic Workday job aids for a variety of topics.
