"Since I also attended the undergraduate CS program at Miami, the MSCS program at Miami is more like an extension of my research path during my undergraduate. The additional year staying in the program improved my understanding of the field I worked with and allowed me to continue my research work with my mentor, Dr. Raychoudhury, and to produce several successful publications that got me into my current Ph.D. program."
MS-CS (2021) Ph.D. Student University of Texas at Austin
"The MSCS program allowed me to earn my Masters's degree while working directly with government research laboratories, which gave me valuable hands-on experience in High-Performance Computing and government contracting. Throughout my Master's thesis work, there was a consistent focus on writing, communication, and presentation skills, which prepared me for the National Laboratory research environment."
MS-CS (2021) High-Performance Computing (HPC) Engineer Oak Ridge National Laboratory
