University of Toledo Occupational Therapy Early Admission Pathway

Once you’re accepted into the program, your spot is guaranteed as long as you maintain the admissions criteria. No worrying about competing for a limited number of seats — your future is secure. Admission criteria include a bachelor’s degree in any field of study with a minimum 3.0 GPA and a grade of B- or better in all prerequisite courses, including:

  • Introductory Biology, Miami Equivalent:
    BIO 115 or BIO 116
  • Introduction to Sociology or Anthropology,
    Miami Equivalent: SOC 151 or 153 or ATH 155
  • Human Anatomy and Physiology I and II,
    Miami Equivalent BIO 201 and BIO 161
  • Medical Terminology, Miami Equivalent:
    KNH 209
  • Introduction to Psychology, Miami Equivalent:
    PSY 111 and 112
  • Statistics, Miami Equivalent:
    STA 261
  • Lifespan Human Development, Miami Equivalent:
    PSY 231
  • Abnormal Psychology, Miami Equivalent:
    PSY 242

Finish the doctoral program in as little as three years. The program includes 95 credit hours and integrated fieldwork each semester. Complete a research project and individualized capstone project before graduation.
