We are seeking innovative, enthusiastic and qualified instructors to teach various introductory art classes to non-art majors at Miami University’s Phillips Art Center.
The Art Center offers short-term classes in Photography, Metals/Jewelry, Woodworking, Ceramics, Sewing/Fashion, Fiber Arts, Paper Arts, Glass Beading/Glass Work, Drawing, 3D Printing and Digital Design. Class sessions are 7 weeks long and each class meets for 2 hours. Basic Syllabus with suggested projects provided.
Positions are adjunct with a maximum teaching load of 9 credit hours per semester. You would be working in a wonderful facility and pleasant, inclusive work environment.
Applicants should have a MFA in related area or BFA with significant (at least 5 years) work/professional/teaching-related experience in area being taught.
