Mock Interview Program

Through our Mock Interview Program, you can practice interviewing in a supportive, low-pressure environment. Our interviewers include peer career coaches, Miami University alumni, and employer partners.

Secure Your Time Slot: All-Majors Mock Interview Day

Get ready for our 2026 Spring Career and Internship Fairs by attending our All-Majors Mock Interview Day!

Held on Wednesday, February 18 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the Career Center, you can schedule a 60-minute time slot with an employer or an alumni volunteer. This is your chance to sharpen your communication skills before you potentially score a real interview for a job or internship.

Some of our employer partners for this event will also attend our career fairs. You’ll discover what they look for in candidates and gain a new professional connection.

No Show/Late Cancellation Policy

A missed mock interview due to a no show or a late cancellation reflects poorly on you and all students at Miami. The following penalties will be imposed per Career Center policy.

Once approved, the apology must be emailed to the employer or interviewer (copied to keshia.hudson@MiamiOH.edu). This must be completed within 30 days or your account is disabled for the duration of the academic year.
  • 2nd offense: Your account is permanently disabled, and you will not have access to any Handshake features for the duration of the academic year. A meeting with the Coordinator of Career Education, Keshia Hudson, is required.
