Empower VetEd is designed to provide experienced military service members and their spouses with the tools and support they need to succeed.
Eligible applicants must be either an active-duty member of any branch of the United States armed forces, a veteran of any branch of the United States armed forces who separated from service with an honorable discharge, a member of the national guard or a member of a reserve component of the United States armed forces, or a spouse of either a) an active-duty United States servicemember, b) a veteran of the U.S. armed forces who received an honorable discharge, or c) a member of the national guard or reserve component of the U.S. armed forces.
Eligible Educator Programs
Eligibility also requires admission to, or current enrollment in a select educator preparation program offered by Miami University.
The award requires a timely application and collects eligibility information for review. Applicants will submit the online application and upload necessary documentation. Scholarship applications are reviewed upon submission and may be renewable.
