Unclassified Leave Reporting

All unclassified staff must report their leave monthly. Faculty are only required to report their leave during a month in which they took sick leave.

Although reports should be submitted at the end of the month, you have a grace period of 10 calendar days. All report approvals must be completed by the 15th day of the month. For example, you should submit your October leave report by October 31 (but no later than November 10), so your approver can approve it by November 15. 

Submitting Monthly Leave Reports

To submit your monthly leave report in BannerWeb, select Employee Services Online and then Leave Reporting

Here, you can choose the month for which you wish to report leave. "Pending" reports have been submitted for approval (contact your approver to make any changes or corrections) and "complete" reports have already been approved (contact Academic Personnel or Human Resources to make changes). You may enter leave information only for reports marked "Not Started" or "In Progress." 

To record leave, do the following:

  1. Find the date you took leave.
  2. Click Enter Days for the appropriate type of leave (e.g., Vacation Pay or Sick Leave Pay).
  3. Enter your time (.5 for a half day or 1 for a full day of leave).
  4. Save your changes after adding each leave time.

Preview and review your report for accuracy, or submit your leave report for approval.
