Carrie Brown
… is a proud alumna of the Advanced Inquiry Program, and her Master Site was the Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden. Before graduating in 2015, she had the opportunity to participate in the Belize Earth Expeditions course and is thrilled to work with Project Dragonfly once again. After earning a bachelor’s degree in education from Ohio University, Carrie spent six years teaching science. Since she completed AIP, Carrie has followed her passion for conservation, spending several years in habitat restoration, native plant propagation, and conservation agriculture. She now works for Ohio State University Extension as an Agriculture and Natural Resources Extension Educator in the county in which she resides. Carrie has a strong interest in ecology, enjoys roadside botanizing, and loves to share her passion for native flora with whomever is willing to listen.
