The national STEM to STEAM movement infuses the arts into traditional STEM-based (science, technology, engineering, math) education. The arts add creativity, process thinking, innovation, experiential learning, risk-taking, and collaboration—all critical ingredients to the type of entrepreneurial thinking required for the 21st century. STEM to STEAM is a priority for the College of Creative Arts at Miami, as demonstrated by multiple student and faculty initiatives!
