Biography
Dr. Jan Eighme taught in the Department of Accountancy from 1992 to 1995, and she returned to the faculty in 2000. She teaches accounting information systems and financial accounting courses. She serves as Miami's associate editor for the American Journal of Business and as the chief advisor for the Department of Accountancy. Jan received her Ph.D. from Florida State University and her M.Acc. and B.S. from Miami University. She is licensed as a Certified Public Accountant in Ohio. She is a member of the American Accounting Association, the AICPA, and the Ohio Society of CPAs.
