Dr Kylie Heales is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Entrepreneurship. Through her research, Dr Heales explores how taken-for-granted ways of organizing society affect entrepreneurs, and vice versa. Her work focuses on gender and religion, poverty, inequality, necessity entrepreneurship, and entrepreneurial growth. Through this work she contributes to advancing our understanding of global economic engagement. Dr Heales has worked with entrepreneurs in Tunisia, Haiti, Kenya, and Namibia, and she advances impact-centric research through partnerships with local organizations working with entrepreneurs.
