Biography
J Ravancho (they/them/theirs) is an Academic Advisor in the Farmer School of Business. They assist business students with discussions around major and career, identify potential courses to take each semester, and co-build academic plans with the students. J additionally, serves as an instructor for BUS 106: FSB Success Strategies.
J utilizes their previous experience and education to help create a lasting partnership with each student to help them feel empowered to make the best decision possible regarding their education here at Miami.
J is a double alumni of Miami University, having completed both undergraduate and graduate work at Miami. J holds a Bachelor of Science in Commerce, with a concentration in Small Business Management, Master of Science in Student Affairs in Higher Education with a concentration in the Realities and Trends of BIPOC Students in Higher Education. They are excited for the opportunity to be able to stay at Miami and help students along their success journeys during their time both here at Miami and in the Farmer School of Business.
