Bill and Payment

Once you have registered for classes, you will receive an email to your Miami email account notifying you that your bill is available and informing you of the due date. It is your responsibility to pay all fees in a timely manner to avoid late fees and/or cancellation of classes.

Note: Please be careful to pay tuition and fees to Miami University only through the authenticated MyMiami website. Outside agents and companies who state they are sending you a bill for Miami tuition and fees and instruct you to pay the company directly are fraudulent and should be reported to our office.

In order to facilitate the payment process for international students, Miami University has partnered with Flywire to streamline the wire transfer process. With Flywire, wire transfers are easy and affordable, as you are offered favorable foreign exchange rates, allowing you to pay in your home currency (in most cases) and save a significant amount of money, as compared to traditional banks. Flywire allows you to transfer money directly from the bank account in your home country to your Miami bill. You will be notified via email when your payment is received by Miami. To pay your tuition and fees through Flywire, please visit

If you choose to pay via electronic check, be sure you enter your checking account number – not the number on your ATM/debit card. If you enter the wrong number, your payment will not be successful and you may be subject to late fees. You can find helpful information about paying by check on the One Stop website.

Be aware that you cannot pay your tuition and fees with cash. You may pay with credit card, but you will be charged a significant convenience fee, so this is not recommended. Please direct any further questions about paying your tuition and fees to the One Stop at
