Estimated Expenses for Exchange Students

The amounts listed below reflect estimated costs of living expenses for study at Miami University for DS-2019 issuance. Estimated living expenses include housing, food, transportation, books, supplies, health insurance, and other miscellaneous costs.  These figures are subject to change.

Exchange students living on-campus are typically housed in Standard Double rooms and are given the Diplomat Standard meal plan.  If you select premium housing or a larger meal plan, you will be responsible for the additional costs.  See Housing and Dining for more information about on-campus housing and dining options. 

Exchange students planning to live off-campus should review information about living off-campus.

These figures are subject to increase.

Kansai Gaidai University

Under the terms of the exchange agreement with Kansai Gaidai University, students pay tuition, fees, housing and dining charges to their home institution rather than Miami University, so these costs are not included in the estimate. Kansai Gaidai 2-year transfer students must provide evidence of funds to cover the two years of the program (books, transportaion, etc. and health insurance).

University of Luxembourg, Non-Degree

Under the terms of the agreement with University of Luxembourg, students from University of Luxembourg in this program will receive Miami tuition and fee waivers.
