Admission Requirements

Review the application materials required for Miami’s curriculum and instruction online degree program:

  • Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited institution, with a minimum 2.75 cumulative GPA or demonstrated academic success in graduate-level coursework
  • Two letters of reference from faculty or professionals in a related field
  • Personal statement that expresses the candidate's interests and goals as related to the degree description and focus
  • Résumé or curriculum vitae

Education Delivered on Your Schedule

Our program is designed for working educators. The program uses 5 mini-semesters and students will never need to take more than two classes at a time. Classes are completely online, with two to three synchronous meetings per semester. The program has two tracks: one for early-career teachers and one for community-oriented educators, each requiring 30 credit hours for degree completion.
