Scholarly Focus
Dr. Minkler's primary scholarly focus involves program evaluation research into the effectiveness of mindfulness-based interventions with regard to well-being in athletes and other performers. He is also interested in mechanisms contributing to change in mindfulness interventions (e.g., dosage, stage of change), as well as how mindfulness contributes to the development of resilience.

Biography
Tommy Minkler, Ph.D., CMPC, is a Visiting Assistant Professor in the Sport Leadership and Management (SLAM) Department at Miami University (OH). Prior to joining Miami University, Tommy worked in private practice as a psychotherapist and mental performance consultant while simultaneously teaching as an Adjunct Faculty Member at Rider University.
