
Miami University alumna Shewanee Howard-Baptiste, Ph.D. ’99 has been appointed provost and vice president for academic affairs at Berea College, effective July 7, 2025.
Howard-Baptiste, who most recently served as vice provost for undergraduate affairs at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, brings more than 20 years of experience in higher education.
