What is your advice to incoming students?
“The magical thing about Miami is that the staff here truly cares about you. If I could give advice to anyone for their first year at Miami, talk to your professors. Get to know them, and let them get to know you!”
Describe how you've grown your leadership skills.
“I am a member of The Miami Student, RedHawk Radio, The Pinky Swear Pack, and Alpha Delta Pi social sorority. These clubs have been so fun because not only have they been able to provide me a fun outlet to fuel my passions, it also gives me a brand new community of friends that love the same things I do! These organizations have also taught me leadership skills and how I can benefit the community through service work.”
Why minor in Theatre?
“I’m able to potentially use this minor to teach drama to my future students. There’s so many options to pick from at Miami, and there’s always a way your passion can tie into a career.”
Are there any professors who have made an impact on you?
“Professor Todd Edwards has truly been my biggest supporter. He always had a big smile on his face and tried his best to make his class environment supportive. I was excited to come to his class every day for the conversations he’d have with us and the fun he’d bring to the classroom. I’m so grateful for all that I learned from him that will benefit me inside and outside of Miami.”
