My Checklist

With the Miami's domain change from muohio.edu to MiamiOH.edu, there are a multitude of areas where you may be impacted. Below are a few, but by no means is this an exhaustive list.

Miami Related

  • Search your email account for messages that were sent to your muohio.edu address
  • Remind email contacts that messages sent to the muohio.edu address is not your official address and should be switched to MiamiOH.edu to assure proper delivery
  • Review your voicemail message for references to muohio.edu
  • Update your signage (digital & printed)
  • Update your stationary (letterhead, envelopes, business cards, name tags)
  • Check any team shirts

Personal

When updating non-Miami accounts, in some cases you may be able to update your records directly via a website. For others, you may have to contact these organizations directly.

  • Update where you have registered for a service (bank, insurance, frequent flyer, retail sites, utilities, ets.) using your muohio address. Update with either a personal email address or your MiamiOH.edu email address*
  • Apple ID
  • Professional Organizations (membership, listservs, etc.)
  • Social Media (blogs, Facebook, Twitter, etc.)

Technical

  • Web content you are responsible for
  • Web servers you maintain
  • Web and paper forms
  • Surveys

*For personal accounts, you might want to consider using a personal email account instead of your Miami email.

  • West Chester

    Voice of America Learning Center

    Located midway between Cincinnati and Dayton along I-75, the Voice of America Learning Center (VOALC) offers undergraduate and graduate courses and programs drawn from Miami's Regional and Oxford campuses. Home to Miami's MBA program, the Learning Center provides ready access to graduate programs for area educators and courses leading to the BIS degree for undergraduates.
