Department of Nursing Graduate Programs
Miami now offers an opportunity for you to advance your nursing career with Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) and Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degrees. The MSN program's first cohort started in the fall of 2022. The DNP degree will begin in the fall of 2024. Seamless progression allows students to earn an MSN, begin their career in advanced practice, and continue to work towards their terminal DNP degree.

Accreditation
The Master of Science in Nursing program at Miami University is accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education.
The DNP program at Miami University is pursuing initial accreditation by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education. Applying for accreditation does not guarantee that accreditation will be granted. Accreditation visit is planned for Fall 2025.
