When changes occur within your family, whether by choice or not, your life at home and work can be affected. Miami offers resources and guidelines to assist you in dealing with these changes. Under each of the family changes listed below you will see steps to take, required forms, and processes.
Family Changes/Life Events
Qualifying status changes occur when a person experiences a family or life event. The qualifying status change period is 30 days from and inclusive of the date of the event.
Important Information
It is advisable to reassess your federal and state tax withholdings in Workday and make adjustments as needed, or seek assistance from Payroll Services at 513-529-6223, after any of the following events below occur.
