Information Systems and Cybersecurity Management
Description
Technology and data sit at the core of how every organization operates, and protecting those systems has become just as critical as building them. Businesses face constant pressure to modernize processes with new technology while defending against rising cybersecurity threats. The Information Systems and Cybersecurity Management major helps students build the technical and managerial skills needed to manage and protect an organization's technology systems and data. Students choose one of two concentrations: Information Systems, which focuses on the technologies and processes organizations use to run and improve their operations, or Cybersecurity Management, which focuses on the risk management and security practices to protect the systems and data. Cybersecurity Management students learn to assess risk, apply security frameworks, and communicate security priorities across the business. Students gain hands-on experience with current applications of AI.
