The Business Leadership co-major bridges this gap by integrating core business knowledge with specialized training in ethical leadership, strategic thinking, and organizational change management.

Program Information
Admission Requirements
- Access to the co-major should be accomplished by first declaring the Business minor in order to access courses in Part I and meet admission requirements
- Admission to Part II (the Business Leadership minor) requires application through the Change of Program form located on the FSB Advising Homepage
- For a non-FSB student to be admitted to pursue the Business Leadership co-major, the student must meet all of the following requirements:
- Earned credit for MGT 291
- A minimum of 6 credits of Business Minor courses completed at Miami University from the following options:
- One of ECO 201 or 202
- One of ACC 221 or ACC 222
- MGT 295
- FIN 301
- A minimum GPA of 3.3 in the Business minor courses completed at Miami University
- A minimum overall GPA of 3.4 in courses completed at Miami University
- No academic integrity violations while at Miami University
Learning Outcomes
Students graduating with the Business Leadership co-major will be able to:
- Apply fundamental business principles across functional areas while demonstrating advanced leadership competencies in decision-making contexts
- Develop and articulate ethical frameworks for business leadership that balance profit objectives with social responsibility and stakeholder interests
- Analyze organizational challenges using strategic thinking methodologies and implement effective change management solutions

- The term "co-major" is unique and indicates that students must complete a primary major in any academic division at Miami University
- Students who complete the co-major, will not earn the Business and Business Leadership minors.
