Finance
Finance addresses the ways individuals, businesses, and organizations raise, allocate and use monetary resources while taking into account risks. This major teaches the principles of finance, explains how financial techniques can solve some of society's most important problems, and prepares students for financial asset management. Students may opt to pursue examinations for licensing and professional designations in insurance, investments, financial modeling, and real estate. Students are often drawn to finance by the variety of career opportunities and a desire to learn about financial topics that are of concern to all people.
