Outdoor Pursuit Center
The Outdoor Pursuit Center offers programming to Miami University students, staff, faculty and the Oxford community. We also manage the Climbing Center, housed in the Rec and challenge course, located at Peffer Park.

We believe in empowering people through recreational outdoor pursuits. Our goals are to equip and educate others for outdoor activities, foster an appreciation for the outdoors, and cultivate memorable experiences and relationships.
Climbing Center
The Climbing Center located in the Rec Sports Center offers a variety of opportunities for climbers ranging from beginner to advanced.
Team Building
The Team Building Program aims to help groups reach their goals through a variety of activities that focus on the groups’ goals and objectives.
Youth Climbing Team
The Youth Climbing Team (YCT) is designed to help youth not only learn about climbing but also help develop self-confidence and personal goal setting.
Miami Bound, Get Outside
Calling all those with a spirit of adventure! Explore the outdoors and make new friends. This program will connect you with other first-year students who share your passion for the outdoors while easing the transition into life on campus.
