If you are having a life-threatening emergency or someone's safety is in immediate risk: 

  • Calling from Oxford: Call 911 or MU Police at 513-529-2222.
  • Calling from Outside of Oxford: Call MU Police at 513-529-2222.

If your concern is URGENT but NOT life-threatening:

  • During business hours (M-F, 8 a.m.-5 p.m.): Consider calling Student Counseling Service (SCS) for a crisis/emergency appointment at 513-529-4634. 
  • After business hours: The H.O.P.E. Line is a 24/7 crisis hotline for Miami students. Call 1-855-249-5649. Or you could call the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline at 1-800-273-8255.

For non-emergencies and routine visits, call Student Counseling service during business hours to schedule an appointment: 513-529-4634.
