Celebrating Miami: Tribe and University 2026

Each fall, the Myaamia Center, in partnership with the Miami University athletics department, celebrates the relationship between the Miami Tribe of Oklahoma and Miami University.
Tribal leadership will travel to Oxford, and we will honor both the overall relationship and the Myaamia Center's 25th anniversary with in-game events, special shout-outs, and festivities throughout the week.
Other events will include Myaamia storytelling at King Library, a meal featuring Myaamia foods at Western Dining Commons, and a Stomp Dance to kick off the week. See the full schedule below.

Myaamia Center 25th Anniversary Celebration Stomp Dance

Join the staff of the Myaamia Center and Miami Tribe of Oklahoma leadership as we celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Myaamia Center. In addition to recognizing the milestone, everyone will come together to Stomp Dance in honor of the anniversary.
