Out of all the universities you looked at, what made you ultimately choose Miami?

The main reason I chose Miami Regionals was the Work+ program. It has allowed me to work while getting my tuition paid for. Not only am I given the opportunity to work and make connections, but my tuition is covered.

How did you choose your major(s)? Were you decided from the beginning, or did you discover your interests here along the way?

I knew from the beginning that I was going to be a business major because I have always had an entrepreneurial mindset and personality.

Tell us about any special experiential learning opportunities that have influenced you in a positive way.

My most proud moment at Miami Regionals is the Butterfly Garden on the corner of the Rentschler building. Last spring/summer I renovated it and added new life to the abandoned garden. A group of friends and I pulled all the unnecessary weeds and brush, power washed the dirty, ignored bench, added new gravel to the pathway, and maintained watering throughout the summer. I saw more butterflies there than I ever had, including some monarchs!

As a Miami student, what are some of your awards and accomplishments? Are you a student leader? Tell us about that and what roles you have played in the Miami community.

Again, the butterfly garden was a project that I led, made the dean's list every year, and maintained a 3.6 gpa!

What are your plans for after you graduate from Miami? What sort of career are you aiming for? What is your dream job?

My dream job would be to be a social media influencer (which I am working towards every day), own rental properties, and even own my own business! (I'm not sure what kind of business yet.)

If you had an opportunity to talk to a student considering coming to Miami, what would you tell them?

I would tell them to choose Miami if they were looking for a welcoming, kind community that will accept them from day one.

Is there anything else you'd like to share about your Miami experience that we didn't cover?

My favorite professor without a doubt is Paul Williams. He was an amazing professor. I admire not only his teaching abilities, but also who he is as a person. Another member of Miami I value is Amy DePew. She has been my backbone for almost my entire career at Miami. She consistently supports me whenever I need it, and I am extremely grateful to her.
