Ohio Secretary of State, local businesses meet at Miami's Commerce Hub at VOA Learning Center
Last week, Ohio Secretary of State Frank LaRose met with area small businesses at Miami University’s Voice of America Learning Center. The secretary shared upcoming and ongoing state support efforts for small business and spoke with the group about those programs, their current challenges, and their thoughts/recommendations for future endeavors.
David Riggs, who heads the Small Business Development Committee (SBDC) at Miami Regionals, helped arrange the session which provided an opportunity for the Secretary to meet with: DripShow Clothing Retailer (Middletown), Petals and Wicks Candle Bar (Hamilton), NY Life Franchise (Oxford, Hamilton), New Beginnings Dental Assistant Academy (Hamilton), Clariti Diagnostics Laboratories LLC (Hamilton), and Parter (Tristate area).
“We are so proud of our role in being a support to area businesses - and the government - and so glad the Secretary of State and our business community can turn to the Commerce Hub at the VOA Learning Center to aid in economic development,” Riggs said.
