Agrawal newest student member of Miami’s Board of Trustees

Arushi Agrawal, a Spanish major with a Premedical and Pre-Health Studies co-major, is the new student member of the Miami University Board of Trustees.
Arushi Agrawal, a Spanish major with a Premedical and Pre-Health Studies co-major from Centerville, has been appointed as a student member of the Miami University Board of Trustees.

Agrawal’s term began on May 2 and continues through Feb. 28, 2027. The term was one of several announced earlier this month by Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine, a graduate of Miami’s Class of 1969. Agrawal will graduate in 2027.

Miami’s Board of Trustees includes up to 17 members, 11 of whom are appointed by
the governor of Ohio, with the advice and consent of the Senate. Each gubernatorial appointee must be an Ohio resident and two must be enrolled students.
Established in 1809, Miami University is located in Oxford, Ohio, with regional campuses in Hamilton and Middletown, a learning center in West Chester, and a European study center in Luxembourg.
