Miami University has been named one of America's Best Employers for Women by Forbes for 2025.
Miami University remains one of America’s Best Employers for Women, according to a recently released list from Forbes.

The university is ranked No. 131 overall and is one of the top three institutions from Ohio in the Education industry. Miami is ranked 21st among employers in Education.

Forbes partnered with Statista, a market research firm, to survey more than 140,000 women working at companies with at least 1,000 employees in the United States. Survey responses were combined with data analysis to rank the top 700 companies.

Earlier this summer, Miami was recognized as both one of the Best Colleges in America by Money.com, as well as a Best Value College by the Princeton Review.

“Miami University’s faculty and staff strive to provide the best possible educational experience for our students,” said Miami President Gregory Crawford. “We are proud to offer a welcoming environment of value, respect, and appreciation where our employees can succeed and flourish.”

The survey for the America’s Best Employers for Women list included questions on pay equity, work-life balance, career advancement opportunities, and more. Responders also were asked how likely they were to recommend current and previous employers.

Miami also appeared on Forbes’ America’s Best Employers for New Grads list for 2025.
Established in 1809, Miami University is located in Oxford, Ohio, with regional campuses in Hamilton and Middletown, a learning center in West Chester, and a European study center in Luxembourg.
