FERPA training deadline for Miami University staff is Sept. 15

The deadline is approaching for Miami University staff to complete Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) training to help employees safeguard student information.

The FERPA training module is available on Workday Learn and is to be completed by Sept. 15.

Miami faculty members are also encouraged to complete the training.

The 30-minute review offers valuable guidance on how to responsibly handle student information and records. Taking time to complete the module ensures Miami employees are equipped to manage student information with the utmost care and confidence.
