Open forums for provost search will be held Sept. 25

The Miami University community will have an opportunity later this month to meet with consultants from national search firm Storbeck Search to discuss the ongoing search for a new provost.

Open forums will be held Sept. 25 on the Middletown, Hamilton, and Oxford campuses. The schedule is:
  • 1:30-2 p.m., Middletown campus, Johnston Hall Room 136-137
  • 3-3:30 p.m., Hamilton campus, Wilks Conference Center
  • 4:30-5 p.m., Oxford campus, Benton Hall Room 102
The university is partnering with Storbeck Search throughout the process.

In April, it was announced that Chris Makaroff, former dean of Miami University’s College of Arts and Science, would serve as interim provost. Makaroff replaced Elizabeth Mullenix, who announced earlier this year she would step down as provost and executive vice president to return to teaching in the College of Creative Arts.
Established in 1809, Miami University is located in Oxford, Ohio, with regional campuses in Hamilton and Middletown, a learning center in West Chester, and a European study center in Luxembourg.
