Training for the Concur online travel booking tool on Nov. 13

Training for the Concur online travel booking tool for Miami University travel will be held at 9 a.m. to 10:30a.m. on Nov. 13 in the Miami art museum auditorium. The focus of the training will be on the use of the Concur online booking tool.

The training will be offered both in person and through a simultaneous Zoom session.

In early October, the university announced an expanded partnership with AAA Corporate Travel. Beginning Jan. 1, 2026, travelers are required to arrange their air travel through the Concur Travel Portal and are strongly encouraged to use Concur for their hotel stays.

Travel expenses for air travel booked outside of the Concur Travel Portal are not reimbursable, unless otherwise approved by the Office of Strategic Procurement. All travel should be paid for using a Miami issued P-Card; departments/individuals are discouraged from using personal credit cards to pay for travel and seek reimbursement.

Members of the AAA Corporate Travel staff will be present in person and remote during the hour-long to hour-and-a-half training session.

Remote attendees will need to register in advance for the webinar.

In person attendees should allow enough time to get to the museum to ensure the event starts on time. Please plan to walk or car pool to RCCAM, as there are only 34 permit spaces. Alternative parking is available at nearby parking lots, but allow a few minutes to walk.

The auditorium seating will comfortably accommodate 70 to 80 people.

If there is a need, training will be conducted again on Dec. 11, 2025, in the same space, format, and time.
Established in 1809, Miami University is located in Oxford, Ohio, with regional campuses in Hamilton and Middletown, a learning center in West Chester, and a European study center in Luxembourg.
