Miami University’s historic men’s basketball season came to a close on Friday with the No. 11 RedHawks’ 78-56 loss to sixth-seeded Tennessee in Philadelphia in the first round of the NCAA Tournament.
The RedHawks finished the year 32-2. They completed a perfect 31-0 run through the regular season and claimed the Mid-American Conference’s regular-season title. Miami, making its first NCAA Tournament appearance since 2007, defeated SMU 89-79 in the First Four at UD Arena in Dayton earlier this week.
