Michael Robinson and Chung Liang, professors of Biology, received $467,969 from the National Eye Institute for a project entitled "FOXE3 in Creating Lens Chromatin Architecture and Transcriptional Identity."

Daniela Inclezan, associate professor of Computer Science and Software Engineering, and Nazan Bautista, professor of Teacher Education, received $171,429 from the Ohio Department of Higher Education for a project entitled "NextGen Teach CS+AI: MU Next Generation CS & AI Educator Endorsement Prog."

James Andrew Leong, assistant professor of Geology and Environmental Earth Science, received $100,000 from NASA for a project entitled "Comparative Habitability of Gabbro- and Ultramafic-Hosted Springs."

Robbyn Abbitt , GIS coordinator and associate director of the Geospatial Analysis Center, and Sharon Custer, senior director of analytics, strategy, and operations in ASPIRE, received $98,000 from the U.S. Department of Agriculture for a project entitled "USDA Proposal Agricultural Security 2026."

Brian Schultz, associate dean for external relations and partnerships in the College of Education, Health, and Society, received $50,000 from the Greater Cincinnati Foundation for the project entitled "TEACh Cincinnati: K-12 Student Pipeline Support."

John Bowblis, professor of Economics and research fellow, and Jennifer Heston-Mullins, associate director of research and senior research scholar in Scripps Gerontology Center, received $39,808 from Cornell University, pass-through funds from the National Institute of Health, for a project entitled "Understanding the Role of Nursing Home Enforcement and Oversight in Post-Acute and Long-Stay Resident Quality of Care."

Kevin Yehl, assistant professor of Chemistry and Biochemistry, received $13,500 from the Mayo Foundation for Medical Education and Research for a project entitled "Mayo Aptamers."

David Scoville, director the Center for Analytics and Data Science, received $12,935 from DHL Supply Chain (USA) for a project entitled "DHL Power BI Fundamentals Course (Winter 2026)."

Erica Noll Crawford, director of online engagement for Miami Online, received $10,000 from the Hamilton Community Foundation for a project entitled "STEAM Studio."
