Know Your Numbers series empowers campus community to leverage Tableau

Information sessions are Aug. 5, Aug. 12, and Aug. 18

Miami University faculty and staff are invited to attend Know Your Numbers: A Guided Tour of Tableau Reporting Tools this August.

Hosted by the Office of Research and Analytics in the Division of Enrollment Management and Student Success (EMSS), these information sessions will offer attendees valuable insights on how Tableau can be used to inform data-driven decision making across the campus community. The three-part series includes:

  • Enrollment and Outcomes
    • Aug. 5, 10-11 a.m., McGuffey Hall 322
    • This session will be co-hosted by the Office of Strategic Analytics and Institutional Research (STAIR).
  • Graduate and Transfer Admission Data
    • Aug. 12, 10-11 a.m., McGuffey Hall 322
  • Oxford and Regional First-Year Admission Data
    • Aug. 18, 10-11 a.m., McGuffey Hall 322

Faculty and staff members are welcome to attend any of the sessions that interest them. Completing a RSVP Form is strongly encouraged.

Tableau is a visual analytics platform that helps organizations see and understand data. A user-first, flexible system, it allows for data exploration, management, and analysis that empowers users to act based on evidence. It is leveraged by universities, Fortune 500 companies, and government organizations.
