‘Meet Me at the M’ photo contest runs through Sept. 18

Take a photo or video at the new RedHawk Plaza for a chance to win one of five gift cards

Miami University’s RedHawk Plaza is the perfect spot to stop and take a selfie.

It’s also the perfect topic for the university’s latest photo contest.

“Meet Me at the M” asks current and prospective students, alumni, faculty, staff, and visitors to Miami’s Oxford campus to capture a photo or video at RedHawk Plaza. Share the photo or video any time between Aug. 20-Sept. 18 for a chance to win one of five $20 gift cards. Winners will be selected randomly after the end of the contest.

Located in the northeast corner next to Shriver Center, RedHawk Plaza was officially unveiled in late July. The plaza contains a 6-foot beveled-M Miami logo and was made possible thanks to the support of Michael ’85 and Pamela Duffett.

“Meet Me at the M” encourages participants to capture their own moments at the plaza and share them on social media through Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, X, Reels, and Stories. Terms and conditions for “Meet Me at the M” are available online.

Established in 1809, Miami University is located in Oxford, Ohio, with regional campuses in Hamilton and Middletown, a learning center in West Chester, and a European study center in Luxembourg.
