Additional parking will be available in fall semester in Oxford.
With construction projects continuing across Miami University’s Oxford campus, several parking areas are temporarily or permanently impacted. To help accommodate faculty and staff parking needs, Miami is making the following changes for the fall semester:
Williams, Wells, Hanna, and Joyner area
- At the start of fall semester, this area will remain fenced off, resulting in the temporary loss of approximately 90 parking spaces. Construction is expected to be completed in September, at which time approximately 60 spaces will return. The remaining 30 spaces south of the Veterans Memorial will be permanently lost.
Campus Avenue city meters have been secured from the city of Oxford on the east side of Campus Avenue for faculty/staff red permit spaces. These spaces will only be available during the fall semester.
Additional parking will be available in fall semester on Miami University's Oxford campus for faculty and staff due to continuing construction.
Cook West
- The northwest section of the Cook Field Lot adjacent to Patterson Avenue will remain available for parking through the end of fall semester, providing approximately 60 additional spaces.
Shriver East Lot
- The Shriver East Lot, located off Patterson Avenue, will transition from metered parking to a faculty/staff red permit lot to help replace parking spaces temporarily or permanently lost in other areas.
Bachelor Hall Lot
- With the completion of the Bachelor Hall construction, the parking lot is now open and available with 90 parking spaces.
With the challenges and changes to familiar parking patterns across campus, these adjustments are intended to provide additional faculty and staff parking options while construction projects move forward.
Established in 1809, Miami University is located in Oxford, Ohio, with regional campuses in Hamilton and Middletown, a learning center in West Chester, and a European study center in Luxembourg.
