From Uptown Madness to special screenings, bootcamps to food drives, Miami University’s 2026 Homecoming will be a full – and rewarding – week on the Oxford campus.
Miami celebrates its traditions, community, and Love and Honor from Sept. 21-27, culminating with the RedHawks’ Homecoming football game vs. the University of Connecticut on Sept. 26 at Yager Stadium.
That football game, plus the Oct. 1 volleyball match vs. Buffalo at Millett Hall, is part of One Miami presented by E&H Ace Hardware. Faculty, staff, and their immediate families can receive up to eight complimentary tickets for both events.
The Homecoming schedule is available online. Highlights include:
- Paint the Town RED, 6 p.m., Sept. 22
- Miami Cares Food Drive, Sept. 23
- RedHawk Rally at the Dining Halls, 5-8 p.m., Sept. 24
- “Cradle of Coaches” Documentary: Clips and Conversations, 6-8 p.m., Sept. 24
- Meet You at the M Photos and Sweet Treats, 11 a.m.-3 p.m., Sept. 25
- Grand Opening of Bachelor Hall, 2-5 p.m., Sept. 25
- All choirs concert, “America Sings 250,” 7:30 p.m., Sept. 25

- Homecoming NSSLHA 5K Run, 8:45 a.m., Sept. 26

Time of kickoff for the Homecoming football game is still to be determined. Tailgate parking lots open five hours prior to kickoff, and there will be a marching band pregame concert an hour before kickoff.
Following the game, an airing of the “Cradle of Coaches” documentary, now streaming on Peacock, is planned at Wilks Theater in Armstrong Student Center.
Football is not the only Miami athletics event happening over Homecoming. Field hockey plays on both Sept. 25 and Sept. 27, while women’s soccer is also in action on Sept. 27.
Homecoming also marks the awarding of the Love and Honor Cup, an annual honor presented by the Miami University Alumni Association to seniors who demonstrate Love and Honor through campus involvement, academic achievement, and community service.
