Christy Perry-Owens

Director of Personnel, Planning, and Operations

Christy Perry-Owens earned her A.B. in Accounting Technology ('15), B.S. in Liberal Studies ('20), and M.Ed. in Transformative Education ('22) from Miami University.  She joined Miami in 2007, and after working in Psychology and Mechanical & Manufacturing Engineering, she joined the CAS in 2022 as the Budget Specialist and in 2025 as the Director of PPO. Christy provides assistance to the Dean, manages the Dean's calendar, and assists with correspondence. She serves as the Human Resources liaison and is responsible for hiring, tracking, and review processes for CAS faculty and staff. In addition, Christy is always available to assist department chairs/program directors and staff with procedural questions.
